This is a five eighth inch diameter pin and clip, so that's going to make it great for all of your class three and up applications. So it's great for something like our ball mount here today.The oversize grip makes it extremely easy to handle when inserting or removing it. There's some different sizes out there, so that's kind of the middle of the range. Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff from etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this three-eighths inch diameter coupler snapper pin. Now this is a spring tension steel snapper pin that'll prevent your trailer's coupler from unlatching and releasing from your hitch ball. This is a spring tension design, creates a nice strong hole. Basically to install this, what you'll do is pull that clip off, open it up like that, and then the three-eighths inch diameter pin will actually slide into a hole that's on your coupler that's usually right for the latch on the coupler. Once that slides all the way through, put your clip over there and then with the spring you just pop it on there and it'll lock it into place and that keeps that latch from popping open and coming off your hitch ball.This is a zinc plated steel, it's corrosion resistant, and the two critical measurements you'll need if this'll fit your coupler is the diameter of the pin, which is the hole size on your coupler, and then the usable length, which is this part right in here. more

Our Buyers quarter inch safety pin is going to make sure that our coupler stayed in the lock position whenever we're driving down the road. This is going to be either a replacement pin or a new pin for a trailer you might've misplaced your clevis pin for. It's going to work with many different clevis tongues and your clevis adapters for whatever vehicle or tractor that you're pulling your clevis tongue with. Today we're taking a look at pin for a pintle and couplers from Draw-Tite.The thing I like about this, it has a chain attached to it. You're going to see that a lot on pintle style hooks. Not so much on couplers.I like the idea that when our pin is not in use you can simply let it hang there. We don't have to worry about misplacing it, and trying to find a bolt to put in there, something like that when we're ready to use our trailer.As you can see, this is going to be a quarter inch pin so it's going to work out with just about any type coupler.Usable length on it's going to be an inch and three quarter. What that means is when the spring's in there, this is going to be our usable space distance.Now it has the squared style keeper. That works out really well on this coupler. more

Curt Coupler Safety Pin Review- Video
Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we've got the CURT coupler pin with chain that we're going to take a look at. Now, these pins are designed for use with couplers with a five-sixteenth-inch hole, easily slide through there, and they've got a spring mechanism on them that's going to hold them in place, so we won't have to worry about them falling off.Now, this is one of many applications this can be used for. The usable space for our pin is going to be right at two inches. So, inside of our keeper here, if you've got a five-sixteenth-inch diameter hole and two inches of space there, this is going to work out really well.The thing I really like about this particular set up is the chain. Very often I see these misplaced, maybe they don't get put in, they get left on top of the toolbox, we wind up losing them. more

Redline Snapper Pin Review- Video
Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Redline Snapper pin. Now this pin is going to provide a really good solution for couplers, or like anything else where you've got a 1/4 inch-sized hole we need a pin to go through it with a catch on it.Now these are available in two sizes as you can see. This is the 2 3/8 inch usable length, so from here to here it's 2 3/8 of an inch. This is gonna be an inch and 3/4. Now regardless of the one you choose, it's got a nice heavy duty spring release on it there. more

Curt Class I and II Pin and Clip Review- Video
Speaker 1: Today we'll be having a look at the Curt Class I and II pin and clip that's 1/2" in diameter, part number F-4. If you have an 1-1/4" hitch and have any hitch-mounted accessories to go with it, whether it be for a Class I or Class II accessory, you're going to need a pin and clip to secure them to your hitch.What's great about this pin and clip is how easy it is to use. With the pistol grip design, it makes it easy for us to insert the pin or remove it when securing our accessories such as this ball mount here. Once we have the pin inserted, we can take our clip, line it up with the pin, push it in place, and that'll secure our pin and our accessory.What sets this pin and clip apart from others on the market is that we have this beveled edge right here to help guide the pin through our holes in our hitch and our accessory. Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the 1/4" zinc plated snapper pin with the lanyard. Now this 1/4" snapper pin with the lanyard, the lanyard is what is used to keep your pin attached to the hitch when the snapper pin is removed. This part is designed to be used on Pinto hitch, part number 337BP760A which we do sell separately on our website.This pin is a carbon steel construction. It is 1/4" in diameter, has a nice zinc plated finish to it. Basically how it operates, you would just pull the clip off, slide this through the holes and then snap this pin right in there and it will hold it into place.Again, when you remove it, it has this nice lanyard that will keep it attached so you don't lose it. Do want to give you some rough measurements of just the inside. more
